Menopause through hormone replacement therapy

With the approval of the world's first low dose hormone replacement therapy with drospirenone, in Malaysia, Menopause women and healthy care professionals have a new treatment options.

During the survey by an independent third party research agencyconducted between end of 2006 and the beginning of the year 2007. The survey involved few hundred gynaecologists and a round a hundred general pratitioners in Australia, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand. On average the surveyed doctor assessed pre-hypertensive Bp ( 130-139mmHg ) in more than half of their menopause patients.

This show that the high risk of hypertension or high BP increases significantly at menopause and needs to be addressed by healthcare parctitioners. the same survey also found that 91% of gynaecologists surveyed had a positive impression of an HRT product with added benifits for BP management. About seven over three about 73% of all gynaecologists viewed an HRT with positiveimpacy rate on BP as a signinificant treatment breakthrough or having some major advantages, as compared to other exiting HRT.
